Drug UsesBy slowing the electrical conduction in the heart, abnormal heart rhythms, such as rapid atrial fibrillation cardizem is used for treatment. Cardizem is also used to treat high blood pressure. Cardizem treatment and prevention of angina, coronary artery spasm has been established, as well as labor.
