  Prior to ciprofloxacin, tell your doctor if you have an abnormal heart rhythm, especially if you are being treated for one of these medications: quinidine (Cardioquin, Quinidex, Quinaglute), disopyramide (Norpace), bretylium (Bretylol), procainamide (Pronestyl, Procan) SR, amiodarone ( Cordarone, Pacerone), or sotalol (Betapace).
