Endep (amitriptyline)

Endep to treat the symptoms of depression. Endep listed in this medication guide is used for other purposes.

Take Endep in larger amounts or for longer than recommended by your doctor to do it. Endep exactly as it was prescribed for you, do it. Follow your recipe. Sometimes the doctor will change your dose to make sure that you get the best result of this medication.

Endep group of drugs called tricyclic antidepressants. Endep may affect the brain chemical imbalance.

Do not take 2 doses at once. If you do not remember until later, skip the missed dose and resume regular dosing schedule. If you miss a dose of this medication and you use it regularly, take it as soon as possible.

Keep out of reach of children. Store at room temperature for moisture and sunlight.

Other drugs that help prevent the use of make you sleepy (such as cold medicine, pain medication, muscle relaxers medicine tour, or, as with other antidepressants).
Endep make your skin sensitive to sunlight and sunburn may result. Avoid sunlight or artificial UV rays (sunlamps or tanning bed) exposure.
Grapefruit and grapefruit juice may interact with Endep. Be careful if you drive or something that you do not have to be awake and alert. Sunscreen products (minimum SPF 15) to use and wear protective clothing if you must be out in the sun. Grapefruit products to your physician or growing grapes in your diet to reduce the use of products discussed before. They can add to sleepiness caused by Endep. Cause dangerous side effects can be taken together with Endep. Avoid alcohol.
