Drug Name Glyset (Miglitol)
Drug UsesGlyset may be used only in conjunction with other oral diabetes medications or insulin. Glyset adults whose diabetes can not be treated with diet alone has been used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes.

- Digoxin, propranolol, or ranitidine because their effectiveness may be reduced Glyset
Glyset Do not use if:
- Are you allergic to any ingredient in Glyset for you;
- You have a blockage in the stomach and intestine, or are at risk of these problems;
- Long-term (chronic) bowel inflammation, ulcers, or gastro-intestinal and digestive problems, or prevent the absorption of nutrients;
- You have diabetes (high ketone levels) have moderate to severe ketoacidosis, or renal disease.
