Drug Uses Precose adults whose diabetes can not be treated with diet alone has been used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes. Precose may be used only in conjunction with other oral diabetes medications or insulin.
How to use
Take Precose by mouth with food.

Warnings/Precautions Precose Do not use if:

Precose May interact with some drugs.
Contact your doctor or health care provider immediately if any of these apply to you. Talk to your healthcare provider if you are taking other medicines, especially any of the following:
- Anticoagulants (eg warfarin) because their risk of side effects, including bleeding, may increase Precose
- Calcium channel blockers (eg verapamil), corticosteroids (eg prednisone), diuretics (eg hydrochlorothiazide), estrogen, isoniazid, nicotinic acid, oral (pill) contraception (eg, chlorpromazine), phenothiazines, phenytoin, sympathomimetics (eg, pseudoephedrine), or thyroid hormones because they increase or "may reduce the effectiveness of Precose
- Insulin or sulfonylurea (eg glyburide) because their side effects may be at increased risk Precose
- Digoxin because its effectiveness may be reduced Precose
Some medical conditions may interact with Precose.
