Drug Name Sarafem (fluoxetine)
Drug UsesSarafem premenstrual dysphoric (PMDD), a disorder to treat severe form of PMS. Also can be used for other conditions as prescribed by your doctor.
How to useSide effects may occur.

Some medical conditions may interact with Sarafem. Sarafem Do not use if:
- You are allergic to a component Sarafem
- You are taking or taken a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (eg, phenelzine), selegiline, or St. John's wort within the last 14 days
