Drug UsesSimplicef tablets in dogs caused by susceptible strains of skin infections (wounds and abscesses) are indicated for the treatment of:
- Staphylococcus intermedius;
- Staphylococcus aureus;
- Streptococcus canis (Group G, hemolytic);
- Escherichia coli;
- Pasteurella multocida, and Proteus mirabilis.
How to useAn acute infection of 3-4 days, if not should not be seen for treatment. If the results become available to continue the treatment.
- Simplicef (cefpodoxime proxetil) tablets in a dose range is 50-10 mg / kg (2.3 to 4.5 ml LB /) of body weight, administered orally, once daily.
Simplicef tablets are more clinical signs once daily for 5-7 days or 2-3 days should be given up to a maximum of 28 days. The dose may be administered with or without food.
