Vagifem (Estradiol)

Vagifem for women and men are sometimes used as part of cancer treatment.

Vagifem for other purposes not listed in this medication guide is available. Vagifem symptoms of menopause such as hot flushes are processed, and vaginal dryness, burning and irritation. Other uses women to ovarian failure or other conditions in the body due to lack of natural estrogen in postmenopausal women with osteoporosis, and estrogen have been added.

Regular physical exams and mammograms, and to examine their breasts lumps on a monthly basis using Vagifem. Large amounts of drug use, or for longer than recommended by your doctor not to use.

If you have medical tests or surgery, or would be handy if you need a bit of time you need to stop taking this medicine. Vagifem long-term treatment of breast cancer, ovarian cancer and may increase the risk of uterine cancer. Your doctor will monitor your progress every 3-6 months to decide whether you should continue treatment. Vagifem take everything as it was prescribed for you.

Estrogen is important for many processes in the body. Vagifem estrogen, a female sex hormone produced by the ovaries are in the form.

Missed dose as soon as you remember. Missed dose Do not take a double dose. Skip the missed dose if it is almost time for your next scheduled dose.

Store at room temperature, moisture, heat and light to estradiol.

You can not estradiol if you are allergic, or if you have:

• Liver disease;
• Abnormal vaginal bleeding that a doctor has not checked;
• Breast, uterine, or hormone-dependent cancers of any type;
• The recent history of heart attack or stroke;
• If you are pregnant;
• If you have ever suffered a blood clot (especially in your lungs or your abdomen), or
• If you are allergic to any drugs or food dyes.
  
  If you have any other of those conditions, your doctor may decide that special tests or your dose of estradiol may need to adjust:
  • Heart disease;
  • Kidney disease;
  • Family history of blood clots;
  • Take hormones due to pregnancy or a history of jaundice;
  • endometriosis;
  • Lupus;
  • porphyria;
  • Gallbladder disease;
  • thyroid hormone;
  • Asthma;
  • Epilepsy or other seizure disorder;
  • Migraines;
  • Your blood calcium level is low, or
  • If you have had your uterus removed (hysterectomy).
